WHAT IS RAAA SPRING BASKETBALL?

RAAA Spring Basketball provides an opportunity for players to continue skill development practice and tournament games during the MYAS Spring Basketball season.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

All RAAA Players in Grades 3 - 8 (2023-24 School Year) are eligible that are interested in a traveling basketball experience. Both Traveling and In-House players are eligible to participate in RAAA Spring Basketball.

FORMING A TEAM AND SIGN-UP?

RAAA Traveling Basketball does NOT form teams or hold tryouts for RAAA Spring Basketball. A coach or team manager needs to form a team and then they will receive a registration link for the players to sign up.

WHAT ARE THE KEY DATES?

February 1st: Registration Opens

March 1st: Team Formation Deadline. A coach or team manager needs to contact the Traveling Basketball Director to form a team and receive a registration link for players to sign-up. This commitment deadline is necessary for scheduling practices at our partner facilities.

March 10th: Registration Deadline.  A player needs to already be on a formed team roster when they register. Please note that you will need a link to the registration page to register. Players on rosters will receive the registration link from their coach.

March 11th: Spring practices will begin. Each team will be scheduled for two practices each week. Practice schedule will be distributed after registrations are complete. 

Length of Spring Season: Spring traveling season varies by team and is determined collaboratively by coaches and families.  The MYAS spring tournament calendar may be found here:

WHAT IS THE COST?

Registration Fee: $75.00.  The registration fee includes the use of RAAA’s equipment, insurance coverage, and facility rental costs for practice time.

Tournament Fees: RAAA does not pay for tournament fees. Instead, the tournament fees are to be collected by each team's Coach/Team Manager and will be determined based on the number of tournaments a team chooses to play and the number of players on the team. The number of tournaments varies among each team, ask your Coach or Team Manager for details.

NEED A UNIFORM?

If you need a uniform, you can purchase a uniform at the following link from CA Gear.
