2017/18 Irish Boys Basketball Team
Information on each of these opportunities is available below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Coach Walsten.
JV/Varsity players -- June 7th-9th -- Weekend camp in Omaha, Nebraska
5th-9th Graders -- July 15th-19th -- Weekend camp in Northfield.
All Ages -- Varying schedules throughout the summer -- Irish Skills Camps
Current 9th-11th graders -- Tuesdays in June & July -- South of the River Summer League
All Ages -- 10,000 shots/dribbling -- track your progress throughout the summer
High School ages -- Strength Training -- track your progress using Volt
Keep an eye on the calendar for Open Gyms (for all players that will be in 9th-12th grade in the 2018/19 school year)
**Deadline for confirming your interest in attending was May 1st**
Practice for all players attending this camp is scheduled for June 4, 5 & 6
Thursday, June 7th - Saturday, June 9th (The bus will be leaving right after school on Thursday and returning Saturday evening.)
This camp is open to current 10th & 11th graders. Priority will be given to older players. The cost is $130 which includes some meals as well as lodging for both Thursday and Friday. The Booster Club has absorbed the cost for transportation so that all players and coaches will be able to ride together.
Your completed application along with a check for $130 payable to Creighton Basketball Camp can be given to the coach and they will all be submitted together. (You can print an application via the link below.) **Do not submit the application online.**

Three teams will be created at the 9th/10th, JV and Varsity levels.
Games will be played on Tuesday evenings in June & July. (Schedule below) Each team will play 2 games per evening.
Communication will be crucial to ensure we have full teams available to play each game. If players will be unable to make it to any of the scheduled games, players younger players participating in the Irish Skills Academy program may be asked to fill-in.
Cost will be approximately $50.
If your player is interested in playing, please email the RHS Back Court Club by May 1st with their name and grade. More information about how to submit payment will be provided at a later date.
If you're looking for more opportunities for your 5th-9th grade player to work on basketball fundamentals over the summer, Coach Walsten recommends Coach Koz's camp at St. Olaf college in Northfield.

**ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS -- This program is crucial for team and individual development! All high school players are expected to attend.**
Do you want to be sure to stay informed with what's going on in the program? There are a variety of ways to do that.
And better yet -- be involved! If you have a player in the high school program, you are automatically part of the Back Court Club and you can be a part of making the program great.
