Rosemount High School Boys Basketball


“Daring To Be Great”

The motto of the Rosemount Boy’s Basketball program is “Daring To Be Great.”  This means that whether it is on the court, in the classroom, in the community or in life, we are pushing ourselves and putting ourselves in situations in which we can achieve the best for our teammates, our family, our friends, our coaches and our classmates. 

 

 On The Court

  • Dare to make your teammates better
  • Dare to spend extra time in the gym and weight room
  • Dare to put the team first in order to achieve the ultimate goal
  • Dare to take care of your body by  eating right and getting proper rest
  • Dare to listen and respect your coaches
  • Dare to want to have the ball with  10 seconds left, down by 1, and know our team is going to win

 In The Classroom

  • Dare to study and prepare for your test so that you do your personal best
  • Dare to introduce yourself to a new classmate
  • Dare to listen to your teachers and sit in the front row
  • Dare to help a fellow student in need
  • Dare to thank your teachers when they help you

 

 In The Community

  • Dare to volunteer your time for the good of someone or something else
  • Dare to help someone in need
  • Dare to spend time with your family and thank them for all that they do for you
  • Dare to take care of yourself in a way that would make others proud

In Life

  • Dare to shoot for the stars (set your goals high and go after them)
  • Dare to dream big
  • Dare to laugh and love
  • Dare to be a leader
